About WITOLDI
Some clothes are made to be noticed.
WITOLDI is made to be lived in.
For women who believe comfort, elegance, and curiosity can travel together.
Our Story
Years ago, at a train station in Toledo, Spain, I noticed a woman in her sixties waiting for a taxi, a suitcase at her side.
She wore comfortable trousers and shoes with a simple navy jacket. Nothing about her was overly styled, yet she looked remarkably put together.
It was the jacket.
One piece had changed the way everything else looked.
I didn't know her, and I never spoke to her. But I remembered her.
In my twenties, I studied fashion design and worked as a designer in Korea. Back then, I thought mostly about how clothes made a woman look. Then I moved to America, raised a family, and spent more than twenty years away from fashion.
By the time I returned to it, I understood clothes differently.
Fashion had taught me how to dress a woman. Life had taught me how a woman needs to move through the world.
Travel made that difference impossible to ignore. A jacket should move when you reach for a suitcase. A passport should have a place of its own. You should be able to sit for hours without wishing you had worn something else.
Too often, travel clothing looked ready for a hiking trail, while more polished clothes asked too much of comfort. I wanted neither.
I kept thinking about the woman in Toledo—how one beautiful jacket allowed her to be comfortable without looking as though comfort was the point.
That thought became the Arno Jacket, and eventually WITOLDI.
I wanted to make clothes for women whose lives have evolved without asking their sense of style to disappear with them.
Women who travel, read, listen, look closely, and still take pleasure in beautiful things.
They don't need clothes that promise to make them look younger.
They need clothes that understand where they are going.
Who We Are
WITOLDI creates thoughtful clothing for women who know themselves—and dress accordingly.
They know what a long flight does to a blazer.
They appreciate function, but don't need it to announce itself.
They know that confidence rarely needs to be loud.
And they understand that elegance rarely needs an audience.
The Name
WITOLDI began as a play on wit and the older I—the person I hope to become with more wisdom, humor, and curiosity, not less.
There is still so much to see.
How I Design
Every piece begins with a simple question:
Will this make life easier without making it look complicated?
Hidden function.
Thoughtful details.
Considered materials.
Enduring silhouettes.
Nothing added simply to impress.
Everything there for a reason.
An Invitation
Not everyone is looking for this.
But if you've reached a season of life where you value freedom more than trends...
where there are still places you want to go and beautiful things you want to notice...
and where elegance is something you carry, not something you perform—
welcome.
Fluent in Elegance. Accent and all.
